As a Human Resources Executive, you will be instrumental in providing strategic, commercial, and operational HR guidance, enabling the business to make well-informed workforce decisions. In this vibrant role, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders while leveraging people analytics to deliver operational excellence and share insights on organizational design, talent management, learning and development, compensation systems, and risk management. With our streamlined team structure, the Human Resources Executive will be expected to take the initiative in daily operations, which includes crafting job descriptions, conducting screening interviews, and addressing employee inquiries about benefits.

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Collaborate with line managers to identify and hire for crucial open positions, ensuring every hire aligns with our mission.

  • Propose alternative sourcing channels and programs to attract the right talent that meets our business objectives.

  • Guide new hires through a comprehensive onboarding experience, incorporating check-in sessions to seamlessly integrate them into our company culture and their roles.

  • Support the implementation of compensation strategies and programs designed to attract, motivate, and retain our talented workforce.

HR Operations and Employee Relations

  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, managing everything from onboarding and offboarding to medical benefits, insurance, work injury claims, government survey submissions, training grants, NS Make-up claims, government-paid leaves, and HR reporting.
  • Address employee relations issues, conduct thorough investigations, and mediate workplace conflicts to foster positive team dynamics and a supportive work environment.
  • Ensure meticulous management of HR records and personnel files in compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and audit standards.
  • Execute payroll accurately and punctually while adhering to relevant legislation and company policies.

Employee Engagement and Communications

  • Contribute to branding and content initiatives across social media and other communication platforms to enhance talent acquisition and retention. Be an enthusiastic advocate for employee-led activities and HR initiatives that promote growth, personal development, and engagement across the region.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, actively engaging on platforms like LinkedIn and other social media.

  • Advise line managers on strategies to position the company as an employer of choice.

  • Coordinate and ensure the seamless execution of company events including town halls, training sessions, team bonding activities, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Manage internal communications to keep staff informed about updates to HR policies, processes, and regulations.

HR Transformation & Digitalisation

  • Assist the Department Head in driving HR Transformation and Digitalisation initiatives for both business and HR processes.
  • Help develop and adopt digital tools that enhance the delivery of the company's strategic objectives.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of talent programs aimed at upskilling our workforce.

Employee Development and Training

  • Work alongside line managers to anticipate future skill requirements and optimize workforce productivity.
  • Collaborate with key managers to assess and define learning and development needs, coordinating training and reskilling initiatives for all employees.
  • Support the facilitation of employee development programs, including skills competency mapping and upskilling opportunities.
  • Facilitate talent review sessions with line managers to identify and nurture high-performing individuals for current and future critical roles.
  • Address any employee inquiries and follow up as necessary.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and skills

  • 2 to 4 years of HR experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • New HR graduates with at least 1-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Professional presentation and representation of the company.
  • Proven track record of providing valuable insights to enhance and digitize HR processes.
  • Experience in workforce optimization, organizational design, talent management, and leadership development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll-related processes including salary payments, allowances, bonuses, increments, deductions, claims reimbursements, CPF, and income tax submissions.
  • Proficiency in influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the commercial landscape.
  • A minimum Diploma in Business or Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • IHRP or similar HR certification is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation (MOM Employment Act) and IRAS tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High numeracy skills.
  • Exemplary integrity and sensitivity when managing confidential information.
  • A strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-starter with keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems or similar technologies, with a commitment to staying updated on HR trends and innovations.
  • Ability to start immediately is a valuable plus.
