Job Description

Quiktrak is seeking an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience to manage and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure systems. In addition to demonstrated hands-on experience with our core toolset (AWS, Azure, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, DataDog, Windows Server, Linux, etc.), the candidate should possess a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability (Eg: Datadog/Prometheus-Grafana/Cloudwatch)
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost
Manage containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Architect and manage AWS cloud for scalability and cost efficiency for services such as EC2, ELB, Route 53, etc. ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
Build and optimize AWS CloudFormation/Terraform templates for infrastructure provisioning, with a modular and reusable design
Implement secure network architectures using VPCs, security groups, subnets, NACLs, etc
Centralize monitoring with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail (or third-party tools) and set up dashboards, alerts and metrics
Define DevOps/DevSecOps architecture aligned with business goals and requirements
Build and maintain AWS DevOps pipelines for automated deployments across multiple environments.
Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation

Must Have Skills

8+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering / Platform Engineering
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Shell scripting)
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Good understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
Experience with version control systems (Git/Devops/Bit Bucket)
Ability to explain the end-to-end workflow from change request → implementation → post-implementation review.
Experience in implementing AI tools to enhance delivery or operational efficiency.
Ability to articulate the impact, including: Efficiency gains, Business benefits, Potential drawbacks, Security risks and considerations.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills :

Fluency in English to interact effectively with US/UK-based clients is a must.
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
Consultative approach during internal and external discussions.
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to impress customers and prospects with functional knowledge and understanding of their business.
Ability to work effectively with offshore teams – have necessary patience and understanding of cultural differences.
