ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, CONSTRUCTION (STARLINK)\n\nSpaceX is leveraging our experience building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world’s largest satellite constellation and most advanced broadband internet system. We provide reliable and fast internet to millions of users worldwide, including populations with little or no connectivity, rural communities, aircraft, watercraft, and places where existing services are unreliable, too expensive, or disconnected by natural disasters. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system, thousands of satellites and consumer antennae that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing. The Starlink team is seeking out the best-in-class professionals to maximize Starlink’s potential for communities and businesses around the globe.\n\nAs a member of the SpaceX Construction Projects team, you will work with a group of elite engineers and specialists across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure for a variety of projects at the Starlink Production Facility as well as other SpaceX Facilities. This role is responsible for the design, build, and activation of infrastructure, facilities improvements and large capital projects. You will own projects from start to finish, with the goal of making the SpaceX campus a world-class facility that can support the mission of enabling life beyond Earth.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n* Lead the project team, consulting engineers and contractors, throughout the entirety of the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process for power-specific scope items\n* Collaborate with the multi-discipline SpaceX Construction Projects team by performing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for a variety of critical and fast-paced company projects\n* Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects\n* Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out\n* Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time\n* Coordinate with electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure\n* Collaborate with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders to ensure that all equipment interfaces properly with other mechanical and electrical systems, including compatibility with facility power budgets\n* Ensure all electrical designs and installations conform to applicable codes and regulations\n* Provide code review and analysis utilizing NFPA 70E, NFPA 70 NEC, NFPA 497, NFPA 101, Vol 5 & 6 AFSPCMAN 91-710, and IBC
