We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 4–7 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of development and operations, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and reliability. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring seamless collaboration across development and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Maintain version control workflows and enforce best practices using GitHub.
- Enhance security practices within the DevOps lifecycle, including access control, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
- Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
- Strong expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building and managing pipelines.
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Solid experience with GitHub, including repository management, branching strategies, and integrations.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is a plus.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
