Senior Field Marketing & Events Lead
Added 6 hours ago📈 Who We Are:
We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair.
Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity.
tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators.
We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale.
In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership.
We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide.
Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems.
At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception.
The role
We're hiring a Field Marketing & Events Lead to build and own the physical and community presence of tem. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role sitting within our Content & Credibility service. You'll be responsible for making sure tem shows up brilliantly at industry events, broker roundtables, generator meetings, customer gatherings, and the campaigns we run in the world.
This is a strategic marketing role with real execution responsibility. You'll own the brief, the plan, the experience, and the outcome.
What you'll do
Own tem's events calendar end-to-end: from industry conferences and broker events to customer community gatherings and internally-run roundtables
Build a scalable field marketing programme that supports both the buy-side broker channel and the sell-side generator community
Manage events budget, supplier relationships, swag, and merchandising with discipline and creativity
Work closely with the product marketing and sales teams to ensure events are tied to quantifiable outcomes
Build the broker community programme: digital and in-person touchpoints that strengthen tem's relationships with our top broker partners
Contribute to major market moments: we're launching campaigns that need event activation behind them
Represent tem as a credible, energetic brand at industry moments (e.g. panels, sponsorships, speaking opportunities)
Use AI tools actively in your workflow: from automating event logistics and generating post-event content, to personalising outreach and building smarter reporting
Track and report on field marketing performance
What we're looking for
7-10 years of B2B field marketing, events, or partner marketing experience
Proven track record of running a portfolio of events from brief to post-event reporting
Strong project management: you can juggle multiple events at different stages without dropping anything
Experience owning budget and holding vendors to account
Commercially sharp: you understand how field marketing connects to business goals and you measure accordingly
Energetic and self-starting: you don't wait to be told what the next event is, you're already building the calendar
Comfortable using AI tools to plan, personalise, and report more effectively: this is a team that moves fast and uses every advantage available
Comfortable in a fast-moving, Series B environment where you'll be building programmes that don't exist yet
Bonus: experience in a technically complex B2B market
Why tem
Real ownership from day one: you'll build something from scratch, not inherit a bureaucratic events function
Work on campaigns that matter: we're fighting to make energy fairer and more transparent for UK businesses
A marketing team that is genuinely excellent and moves fast
Competitive salary, equity, and benefits
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you’re excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
