Description
Responsibilities
In this role you will operate Weave's robots for data collection to help with autonomy for household tasks like laundry folding. You’ll collect data (with teleoperation equipment), work directly with other members of the Weave team to refine our data collection process, and monitor our equipment for continuously safe operation.
Requirements
You’ll need to be able to operate Weave’s equipment for 4+ hours a day (with breaks) to control our robot as it performs tasks like folding laundry, picking up objects, and interacting with its environment.
Successful candidates will bring good judgment and attention to detail to their work to ensure the data we collect is high-volume and high-quality. They’ll also be comfortable executing in a dynamic data collection environment where tasks and data collection setups can vary subtly or meaningfully from day to day. As needed the role may also require visiting deployment sites to assist in robot workflows.
The expected compensation for this role is $25 per hour with opportunities for breaks. In this role you will start as a part-time employee of the company with the potential to graduate into a full-time role after a trial period.
