Position Summary:

Solenis is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Procurement Specialist – Indirect to support global procurement across consulting and financial services. Reporting to the Global Category Leader, this role executes category strategies and leads sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance management to deliver measurable value, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance in partnership with stakeholders across the enterprise. 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Operational Excellence

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for consulting and financial professional services (e.g., Audit, Controllership, FP&A, Insurance, Tax, Treasury) aligned to global category strategies, business objectives, and financial targets.
  • Analyze category spend and supplier performance to identify savings, cost avoidance, and process improvements.
  • Ensure sourcing and contracting comply with regulatory, ethical, and risk management standards.
  • Support procurement transformation and other enterprise initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through sourcing, demand management, and supplier innovation.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders at all levels and promote early procurement engagement.
  • Partner with Procurement, IT, Legal, Finance, and other teams to align sourcing with business needs.
  • Lead multiple sourcing and contracting initiatives simultaneously, applying strong project and time management skills.
  • Communicate procurement strategies, risks, and results clearly in writing and presentations.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Manage supplier performance through governance, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead complex negotiations for MSAs, SOWs, and professional services agreements to secure favorable terms and deliver value, savings/cost avoidance, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Data, Technology & Insights

  • Use procurement tools and analytics to generate insights, track value, and inform decisions.
  • Monitor and report procurement KPIs, category performance, and relevant market trends for leadership and governance forums.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field required; Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • 5–8 years of procurement experience, including 3+ years supporting indirect professional services/consulting categories.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, category strategy, complex contracting, and supplier performance management.
  • Strong financial acumen (e.g., pricing models, total cost of ownership, value realization).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and supplier/stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement and analytics tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Salesforce, Tableau).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) and experience with ESG and supplier diversity programs preferred.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented; thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment.
  • Track record of delivering savings and measurable value through strategic sourcing.
  • Fluent in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
