The Role

We’re looking for a Warehouse & Manufacturing Technician Contractor (40 hrs per week / 1–2 month contract) to support our operations and manufacturing teams with warehouse logistics, inventory organization, and product preparation for field installations.

This role will assist with receiving inventory, stocking materials, picking and packing shipments, and maintaining organized inventory in our warehouse and inventory management systems. The position will also support light manufacturing and testing activities as needed.

You’ll work closely with a small team responsible for ensuring materials and equipment are organized, available, and ready for deployment, helping improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency as we scale operations. *Must be in office 5 days per week - SF Headqurters

What you’ll do

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify inventory against purchase orders and packing slips

  • Open boxes, inspect materials, label parts, and organize inventory within the warehouse

  • Stock and restock parts and materials in designated storage locations

  • Assist with picking, packing, and preparing shipments for field installations

  • Maintain clean, organized warehouse and work areas

  • Perform cycle counts and support inventory audits to improve inventory accuracy

  • Assist with inventory updates and adjustments in inventory management software

  • Support warehouse organization and preparation for upcoming inventory system improvements

  • Assist with product assembly, packaging, and preparation for shipment when needed

  • Support testing and preparation of equipment prior to field deployment

  • Help coordinate shipping and receiving activities with various carriers

  • Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, shipping, and receiving activities

  • Identify inventory discrepancies or operational issues and escalate when needed

  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring

  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, manufacturing, or similar hands-on environment

  • Experience with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, or shipping logistics

  • Familiarity with inventory management software (Fishbowl, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to lift and move boxes and materials as required in a warehouse environment

  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and basic computer tools (Google Sheets, Microsoft Office)

  • Ability to work independently and manage ad hoc operational tasks

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Final compensation for full-time employees is determined by a variety of factors, including job-related qualifications, education, experience, skills, knowledge, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, full-time roles are eligible for stock options.
