ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril’s Design Team is seeking a Strategic Design Operations Manager to join our team. You will join the centralized design function to drive strategic objectives and operationalize Anduril Design initiatives. You will be a key partner to the VP of Design. The ideal candidate will have experience defining and executing sustainable programs and operations. If you are a team player who is passionate about the creative process and driving design work forward, then this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partner with VP of Design as thought partner and executional lead
  • Identify forward-thinking initiatives and strategic frameworks for each discipline
  • Facilitate team rituals including design critiques and updates
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to align on key topics and craft exec-level presentations, narratives, and emails
  • Support planning and execution of design programs and organizational evolution of team
  • Proactively communicate program status, risks, and schedules
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute program documentation
  • Advocate for new tools, best practices, and stay ahead of design trends
  • Collaborate with Creative Operations leads to build quarterly and annual plans and capture KPIs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years in industry or agency environment
  • Demonstrated experience scaling operations for a critical business unit
  • Experience working with creative teams across disciplines with deep understanding of creative approach and design processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to frame complex challenges
  • Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • A team player who is highly collaborative with the ability to execute projects with care and clarity
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Deep attention to detail
  • Must work on-site in Costa Mesa, Ca
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
