Lifecycle Manager

Renmoney is a digital finance company on a mission to make financial inclusion simple and human. We help people and small businesses in Nigeria access loans, build savings, and manage money with clarity and confidence.

We’re hiring a hands-on Lifecycle Marketing Manager to build and scale data-driven journeys that activate, engage, and retain customers across Renmoney’s products (Loans, Savings, Debit Card, and more). You’ll own end-to-end campaign execution in Customer.io (or similar), drive rigorous experimentation, and collaborate with Product, Data, Growth to improve LTV, retention, and reactivation.

What You’ll Do

  • Own multi-channel lifecycle programs across email, push, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app - from onboarding through win-back.

  • Develop segmentation frameworks (persona, behavioral, lifecycle stage) and trigger-based journeys that personalize at scale.

  • Build and operate in Customer.io (or similar): journeys, data requirements, QA, frequency caps, and governance.

  • Run an experimentation program (A/B, multivariate, holdouts) to improve conversion, retention, LTV, and campaign ROI.

  • Measure and report performance: cohort retention, funnel conversion, attribution; maintain clear dashboards and insights.

  • Collaborate with Product, Data, Growth to align messaging, data quality, and regulatory needs.

  • Write and edit channel-ready copy and provide clear briefs to content/design; maintain tone of voice and brand standards.

  • Maintain operational excellence: naming conventions, event/attribute hygiene, deliverability, and preference management.

  • 2+ years in Lifecycle/CRM/Retention or Growth Marketing (fintech or financial services is a plus).

  • Proven hands-on experience with Customer.io or comparable platforms (Braze / Iterable / Klaviyo).

  • Analytical skills: ability to segment data, conduct basic analysis, and understand attribution; familiarity with analytics/BI tools (e.g., Mixpanel, PowerBI) and spreadsheets.

  • Excellent written English with copywriting and editorial ability for short- and long-form communications.

  • Solid project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with mobile engagement, WhatsApp Business, and deliverability best practices.

  • Knowledge of experiment design and statistical interpretation.

  • Familiarity with attribution (e.g., AppsFlyer)

  • Understanding of the Nigerian consumer landscape.

  • Remote work from anywhere in the world

  • Performance bonus, paid vacations and day-offs, personal development plan

  • Ownership of a core growth lever within a collaborative, data-driven team

  • Modern marketing technology stack and support from Product, Data, and Design.

  • Purpose: shape the future of fintech in Nigeria with products that reach millions, backed by a competitive salary

  • Growth: thrive in a fast paced work environment with flexibility, collaboration, and access to cutting-edge tools

  • Join a diverse, inclusive team where all voices are valued, and professional growth is a priority.
