About the Role

As a Manager, Performance Insights, you will lead the development and adoption of a data-driven analytics platform that directly impacts perioperative efficiency, clinician workflows, and patient outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, data, and product—turning complex data into decisions that improve how hospitals run.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Leadership & Problem Definition

  • Partner with clinicians, administrators, and executives to identify high-impact operational challenges
  • Define KPIs and success metrics tied to perioperative performance and business outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders from questions → insights → action

2. Analytics Strategy & Execution

  • Translate business needs into structured analytical approaches and technical requirements
  • Lead deep-dive analyses on efficiency, cost, and clinical outcomes
  • Ensure insights are actionable, not just descriptive

3. Product & Platform Influence

  • Shape the evolution of the analytics suite by defining requirements and prioritizing features
  • Partner with product and engineering to ensure solutions meet real user needs
  • Validate dashboards and reporting tools for usability and impact

4. Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop a team of performance insights analysts
  • Set a high bar for analytical rigor, communication, and business impact
  • Build team capabilities in both technical execution and stakeholder influence

5. Data Governance & Quality

  • Establish and maintain standards for data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
  • Partner with engineering to ensure scalable and trustworthy data pipelines

6. Adoption & Change Management

  • Drive adoption of analytics tools across diverse user groups (e.g., surgeons, periop leaders)
  • Develop training, documentation, and enablement strategies
  • Address resistance and ensure insights translate into real-world behavior change

7. Scaling & Continuous Improvement

  • Incorporate user feedback to continuously improve analytics capabilities
  • Expand data sources and analytical depth as the platform evolves
  • Ensure the system scales with increasing data complexity and customer needs

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or performance improvement within healthcare or a related domain
  • Strong hands-on analytical skills (SQL required; experience with BI tools like Looker/Tableau)
  • Experience translating ambiguous business problems into structured analyses and recommendations
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, and business teams
  • 3+ years of people management experience with a track record of developing talent
  • Experience driving projects from problem definition through execution and measurable impact

Bonus Points For

  • Deep familiarity with perioperative workflows, metrics, and challenges
  • Experience in a healthcare consulting firm, digital health company, or health system
  • Exposure to SaaS analytics platforms or enterprise implementations
  • Experience working with EHR data (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
  • Background in influencing product or analytics roadmap decisions

Additional Details

  • Travel: Up to ~15% within the U.S.
  • Role scope: Team leadership + individual contribution (player-coach model)

Compensation for this role is based on market data and takes into account a variety of factors, including location, skills, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Salary is just one part of the total rewards package at Qventus. Salary Range

$145,000—$160,000 USD
