Required Skills/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Director of Finance or in a similar senior finance role
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
Solid expertise in financial analysis and forecasting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and financial management software (e.g., SAP)
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MS/MA is a plus)
CPA or other relevant qualification required
Experience working in the UAE finance field (2018 onwards is a strong advantage)
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Hands-on approach with the ability to train on finance systems and perform process diagnostics/improvements
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong drive, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

Drive the company's financial planning by analyzing performance and risk
Maintain constant awareness of financial position and act to prevent issues
Set performance targets and supervise accounting and finance personnel (approx. 10 team members)
Oversee audits and internal control operations
Prepare detailed quarterly and annual financial performance reports
Conduct financial forecasts and report to senior executives
Ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines
Oversee finance operations for an internationally operating company
Develop, educate, and lead the finance department toward sustained profitability and long-term success
