We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, with experience in C++ and power management, capable of managing projects and tasks independently and responsibly. This role requires close collaboration with the team and active participation in on-site activities in Bolzano, 2 weeks/month.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, improve and maintain the overall charging functions and the associated power management functions, such as power sharing, cooling/derating, grid control, battery storage systems, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and depot charging
Develop and extend the charging interface between EVs, EVSEs and the grid in line with new standards and market trends (MCS, bi-directional power transfer and load balancing)
Deliver the best power sharing functionalities on the market
Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of field issues
Accompany interoperability and conformance tests

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
Previous relevant work experience
Strong proficiency in C++ or Python
Proficient with version control systems (GIT) and build environments
Knowledge of control theory, energy systems, or real-time optimization
Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink
Familiarity with energy and charging standards is a plus
Autonomous and solution-oriented work style, as well as analytical thinking
Enthusiasm, good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Fluent in English, nice to have German and/or Italian
