As our new Engineer - Mechanical Computational "High-rise & Complex Buildings" you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design centre owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Design of HVAC, Water Supply, drainage & firefighting ventilation other mechanical system.
Heat load and cooling load calculations with HAP/IES, ventilation calculation, water supply sizing & drainage calculation.
Able to calculate the pressure drop calculation for duct & pipes.
Equipment capacity sizing & selection of equipment’s.
MEP coordination & checking.
Certify the layout / model in Revit/ CAD.
Safety installations and Security installations.
Digital & Computational Skills
The candidate is expected to be digitally fluent and comfortable working within advanced BIM and model-based design environments. Experience in automation, parametric workflows, scripting (eg. Python, Dynamo, Grasshopper), or custom tool development is a strong advantage.

The role requires the ability to utilise data and digital tools to enhance efficiency, coordination, system optimisation, and performance evaluation. Interest in AI-enabled design support and digital innovation is desirable.
