The Vice President of HR Compliance leads the strategy, delivery, and growth of HR Compliance and Consulting (HRC) solutions, ensuring clients remain protected, compliant, and efficient within an evolving federal, state, and local regulatory landscape. This role drives revenue and client retention through operational execution, cross-functional collaboration, and thought leadership. The VP oversees a team of HR professionals delivering comprehensive, scalable services—including compliance advisory, regulatory monitoring, training, digital tools, and workforce lifecycle support—ensuring alignment with legal requirements, HR best practices, and business objectives.
How you will contribute
- Define and execute the HRC strategy across core offerings, including certified HR advisory, digital HR library, handbook review, and on-demand support
- Oversee delivery of employee lifecycle support services (e.g., employee relations, leave management, investigations, performance management, compensation, and training)
- Develop scalable compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support multi-jurisdictional adherence and risk mitigation
- Lead regulatory monitoring and guidance (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, ACA, state laws), translating requirements into practical client solutions
- Ensure continuous updates and accuracy of compliance content, templates, training materials, and digital resources
- Partner with other Asure product lines such as payroll, and benefits to enhance integrated client solutions
- Drive client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth through thought leadership, webinars, and strategic sales collaboration
- Manage vendor relationships supporting legal content, certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI), and learning platforms
- Oversee financial performance, KPIs, and executive reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Business, or related field
- 10+ years in HR compliance, employment law, or workforce training; 5+ years in leadership
- Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law and compliance frameworks
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex, multi-state environments
- Ability to translate legal requirements into scalable business processes
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and adult learning principles
- Strong communication, risk assessment, and collaboration skills
- Experience in SaaS, HCM/HRIS, or tech-enabled services preferred
- Frequent travel required, an average of twice per month
