Behavior Technician (BT) – Virginia Beach, Virginia\n\nCompany: Guiding Stars ABA, a Finni Health company\nJob Type: Part-time (less than 30 hours per week)\nLocation: In-person – Virginia Beach, Virginia\nPay: $18 - $21 per hour\n\nSchedule Options:\n\n* Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2:45pm-6:30pm\n\n* Tuesday and Fridays 2:45pm - 6:30pm\n\nAbout the Role\n\nGuiding Stars ABA, a Finni Health company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children in their homes, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful impact on their development and daily life.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\n* Deliver in-person ABA therapy in a child's home\n\n* Follow behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA\n\n* Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors\n\n* Participate in supervision sessions with a BCBA\n\n* Attend required team meetings and training sessions\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n* Competitive hourly pay: $18 - $21/hour\n\n* Career growth opportunities within the ABA field\n\n* Drive time\n\n* Health, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time employees)\n\nWhat You'll Need\n\n* High school diploma or equivalent\n\n* Experience working with children\n\n* Passion for supporting children with special needs\n\n* Reliable transportation\n\n* Active CPR certification (Preferred)\n\n* RBT certification (Preferred) or willingness to obtain it within a set timeframe\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\n* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds\n\n* Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods\n\n* Comfortable engaging in play and physical activity with children\n\nAbout Us – Guiding Stars ABA, a Finni Health Company\n\nGuiding Stars ABA partners with Finni Health to provide compassionate, in-home ABA therapy.
