Compliance Program Manager, Taiwan

Meter builds networking hardware that businesses depend on to stay connected. Our products need to work flawlessly in the field, and delivering them requires tight coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain. We are building and deploying the next generation of Meter hardware, and this role sits at the center of that execution.

We are hiring a Hardware Compliance Program Manager in Taiwan to drive the end-to-end compliance for wired hardware products as well as the worldwide certification expansion of Meter wireless. This role is not just about tracking timelines; it’s about owning the end-to-end execution of complex programs, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring that every detail—from regulatory requirements all the way to sustaining compliance post-launch—is thoughtfully planned and delivered. You will work closely with our JDM partners, 3rd party labs, component partners, and internal teams to translate ideas and compliance requirements into shipped products, balancing speed, accuracy, and completeness.

Your work will directly shape how reliably and efficiently we bring new hardware to market, helping us scale our product portfolio while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

What success looks like

  • You consistently deliver hardware compliance programs on schedule, hitting EVT/DVT/PVT and production milestones

  • You bring structure, technical understanding, and effective communications to complex programs, with clear timelines, risks, and ownership across internal teams, 3rd party labs, and JDM partners

  • Cross-functional teams (software, hardware, supply chain, sales, operations) are aligned and unblocked, with decisions made quickly and effectively

  • You proactively identify risks and tradeoffs, driving resolution before they impact schedule, cost, or performance

  • You build the best networking hardware in the market by executing the best certification strategy

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Drive execution across multiple compliance programs, tracking progress against key milestones (EVT/DVT/PVT/Launch/Sustain) and keeping teams aligned on priorities

  • Work closely with JDM partners, labs, and global market access partners on standards, requirements, testing, debugging, schedules, and obtaining certificates

  • You will be helping build internal compliance tools like knowledges bases, Meter compliance and quality specifications and test plans, and worldwide regulatory playbooks

  • Dive deep into the lab testing to manage the partnership, testing projects, and the debug/resolution when things don’t go as planned

  • Partner with hardware and software engineers to review compliance outcomes, regulatory features, and RF test results

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with supply chain, operations, and deployment teams to ensure manufacturing and shipping readiness based on certification status

Who you are

We are looking for someone with a specific background and skillset, but also someone who is ready to do big things to help launch bold hardware. This is what makes you the best fit for our team:

  1. You truly believe in doing the right thing and take regulatory compliance and the safety and performance of our hardware extremely seriously. You are also able to balance core compliance values with business goals.

  2. You crave simplicity. You work quickly, with accuracy, and to completion.

  3. Has a deep knowledge of compliance standards (FCC 15B/C/E, EN 301 893, EN 303 687, EN 300 328, CISPR 32/35, UL/CSA+CB 62368-1/22, BSMI+NCC, etc.)

  4. Understands the go-to-market compliance requirements for packaging, documentation, labels, shipping/customs, and software.

  5. Understands the full compliance lifecycle that includes design, NPI, launch, 2nd sourcing, renewals, country additions, feature additions, regulations and standards updates, audits, market surveillance, and end-of-life.

  6. Has a mindset of working with 3rd parties as partners and not just as vendors.

  7. Can clearly communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.

  8. Can speak, read, and write as well as discuss technical engineering topics in English.

Why Meter?

The internet runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.

We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.

Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.
