As a Junior Risk and Reporting Officer you will support FxPro’s Risk & Reporting function by assisting in the preparation of regulatory reports, monitoring risk exposures, and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in advising Management on applicable regulatory and reporting obligations based on the rules and regulations under which the business operates
- Support the preparation and timely submission of all relevant regulatory reports for all entities under the FxPro Group
- Gather, validate, and reconcile data for regulatory and internal risk reports from various departments (Finance, Operations, Compliance, etc.)
- Maintain proper documentation, workpapers, and audit trails to support all submitted reports
- Help identify, categorize, and group risks (e.g. market, credit, operational, liquidity, regulatory) and keep risk registers up to date
- Contribute to the preparation of internal risk reports and dashboards for management
- Assist in monitoring key risk indicators and escalating issues or breaches to senior team members
- Support the enhancement of internal controls, processes, and tools related to risk management and regulatory reporting
- Participate in ad-hoc analyses and projects related to regulatory changes, systems improvements, and data quality
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field
- Up to 2 years of experience in risk management, regulatory reporting, finance, audit, or a related area (internships or graduate roles are considered a plus)
- Basic understanding of financial markets, investment products, and risk concepts
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with databases, BI tools, or SQL will be considered an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and ownership of tasks
