IT Specialist

We're looking for a sharp, resourceful IT Specialist to own day-to-day technology operations across the company. You'll be the go-to person for hardware, software, access management, and internal tooling — keeping a distributed team running smoothly and securely. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, and plenty of room to grow.

Location: This role is based out of Bogruta, Colombia, and is a full-time hybrid position where it is required to come into our office in the Parque de la 93 area (2-3 days/week). #LI-HYBRID

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding workflows including device provisioning, account setup, and access management across our core stack (Google Workspace, Slack, Linear, HubSpot, Notion).
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests — troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for a distributed team.
  • Maintain device inventory and oversee MDM tooling to ensure endpoint security and compliance.
  • Administer SaaS tools and user permissions; audit access periodically to enforce least-privilege principles.
  • Support IT security initiatives including MFA enforcement, SSO configuration, and security awareness training.
  • Document IT processes, runbooks, and policies to keep the team self-sufficient as we scale.
  • Identify gaps in our tooling or workflows and propose practical improvements.
  • Partner with Finance and HR on procurement, software renewals, and budget tracking for IT spend.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.

  • Fluent in English, Jeeves is a global company and English is the language we use internally to communicate between regionsSolid working knowledge of macOS and Windows environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration (groups, policies, audit logs).

  • Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Jamf, Kandji, or Mosyle.

  • Working knowledge of SSO and identity management (Okta, Google SSO, or similar).

  • Strong troubleshooting instincts — you dig into problems methodically before escalating.

  • Clear written communication; you document your work and write for a non-technical audience when needed.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, async environment.

  • Experience at a fast-growing startup or fintech company a plus

  • Familiarity with security frameworks or compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001).

  • Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or AppleScript) for automating repetitive IT tasks.

  • Experience with network administration, VPN configuration, or office infrastructure setup.
