Quality Engineer Automation (Selenium C# with BDD & API Testing)

Work Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid Work Model)
Shift Timings: Rotational / General Shift

Experience Required: 12+ years in QA with leadership experience (as detailed below)
Notice Period: Immediate joiners or up to 15 days' notice 

Mandatory Skills:

  • Selenium with C#, including implementation of Selenium Grid

  • BDD Framework using SpecFlow

  • API Automation

  • Strong Agile testing experience with proven use of automation accelerators and tools

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 12+ years of overall QA experience, with significant leadership responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Quality Engineer Automation to lead quality assurance initiatives across a portfolio of projects. This role demands a strategic thinker who can drive high-quality deliverables, manage a skilled team, and champion test automation practices using modern frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Test Delivery: Own and deliver comprehensive testing strategies across multiple programs and initiatives, ensuring top-quality outputs.

  • Team Leadership: Manage a QA team of 1012 members, overseeing performance appraisals, career development, and skill progression.

  • Automation Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and implementation of test automation using Selenium with C# and BDD frameworks like SpecFlow, including robust API automation.

  • Collaboration & Governance: Work closely with architects, developers, and scrum teams to ensure testability, drive automation readiness, and provide input on both functional and technical design.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and introduce tools and practices that enhance test efficiency and effectiveness across manual and automated testing domains.

  • CI/CD Enablement: Support and evolve automation frameworks to integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

  • Innovation & Mentoring: Champion innovation through POCs and best practices. Mentor junior QA team members to build internal capability.

  • Strategic Contribution: Define and align QA roadmaps with business and IT portfolio leaders. Influence key stakeholders with data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Business Continuity: Ensure testing continuity across evolving project demands and organizational priorities.
