Finance Intern
ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril is defining the future of defense, and we’re looking for a Finance Intern to join our corporate finance team. This 12 week summer internship will be in-person in Costa Mesa, CA.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Contribute significantly to the development and refinement of the long-range financial plan (LRP), annual operating plan (AOP), and monthly financial forecasts
- Develop detailed financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and operational decisions
- Provide strategic financial insights and variance analysis related to performance, including revenue, OPEX, EBITDA, capital expenditures, and cash flow
- Partner closely with the Strategic Real Estate and Business Operations team to support ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and executive decision-making
- Develop financial models and analytical frameworks to address ad hoc investor inquiries and support investor relations activities
- Establish an extensive benchmarking analysis and framework for total company financial performance and financial operating metrics
- Prepare executive level presentations and materials that synthesize financial analysis and provide actionable recommendations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance, Corporate Finance, o Strategy. All applicants should be returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies for at least 1 semester.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, scenario analysis)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences
- Prior experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or strategic consulting is a plus
- Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in Costa Mesa, CA
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
