Manager IT Infrastructure
Job Summary:
As the Manager of IT Infrastructure at Creative Chaos, you will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring a secure, efficient, and scalable environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals, managing infrastructure projects, and supporting the overall IT strategy aligned with business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and lead the IT infrastructure team to ensure reliability and performance of all IT systems.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
Develop and implement infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain high levels of security and compliance.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure products and services.
Ensure effective disaster recovery and data backup procedures are in place for all systems.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
Oversee infrastructure budgets, monitoring expenditures, and optimizing resource use.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements to ensure infrastructure is modern and effective.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience with infrastructure technologies such as servers, storage, networking, and cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance standards
Experience implementing and managing G Suite, Slack, password manager, Atlassian products, CMS tools, and Google Analytics.
Excellent project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on team development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, AWS, VMware) are a plus.
