Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal with experience in UK Family Law to support a busy legal team. This is a fully remote role ideal for candidates with strong organisational skills, legal research capabilities, and a solid understanding of UK family law procedures.
You will play a key role in case preparation, client communication, and document management, ensuring smooth progression of cases and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist solicitors with case preparation across divorce, child custody, and financial remedy matters
Draft legal documents including witness statements, court applications, and correspondence
Conduct legal research on UK family law regulations and case precedents
Manage and organise case files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
Support with court bundle preparation and filing procedures
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficient case progression
Prior experience as a Paralegal in UK Family Law (essential)
Strong understanding of UK legal procedures, particularly family court processes
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Experience drafting legal documents and correspondence
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Proficiency in legal software and document management systems
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Law degree or equivalent legal qualification preferred
