A Python-based data development and execution platform has been deployed to support data preparation and analysis activities, mainly used by Quantitative Analysts (Finance, Actuarial, and Risk teams).

The platform team is responsible for:

  • Maintaining and continuously improving the platform to address data challenges
  • Supporting business teams throughout the lifecycle of data use cases, from need identification and feasibility analysis to production delivery

In this context, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the adoption, evolution, and management of platform use cases.

Your Role

Working in an Agile environment, you will act as a key interface between business users and IT teams. Your mission is to understand business needs, support user onboarding, and contribute to the design of robust and scalable data solutions.

You are expected to have a strong understanding of data platforms, data integration, and data flows, as well as the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work in Agile mode within the platform team
  • Collect, analyze, and challenge business needs through workshops with stakeholders (Business, Product Owner, Architecture, Security, IT teams)
  • Write business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories
  • Contribute to defining new platform functionalities aligned with user needs
  • Participate in the design and implementation of data solutions
  • Support and guide users during onboarding and use‑case implementation
  • Write user guides and operating procedures
  • Contribute to portfolio and use‑case management
  • Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily meetings, sprint reviews)

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on data projects and have the following skills: Technical skills / knowledge / know-how:
  • Ability to understand functional needs and translate them into IT requirements.
  • Ability to understand data architectures
  • Mastery of the main concepts of data governance
  • Analytical capacity.
  • Basic knowledge of python and data analysis
  • Very good command of the French language.
  • Good level of English.
