Job Description:
The Director of Product Delivery leads the Product Management function while also owning a meaningful portfolio of product work. This role is responsible for ensuring strong product ownership and delivery quality across all features and initiatives, turning company strategy and product vision consistent, high-impact execution.
The role serves as the primary bridge between Product Strategy and Product Delivery, ensuring roadmaps are both ambitious and executable, and that learning from customers, engineering, and the market continuously feeds back into strategic planning.
What You’ll Do
Product Delivery Leadership
Own the product operating model, including roadmap planning, sprint/release cadence, PRD standards, and launch readiness
Partner closely with the Product Strategy team to translate product vision and market direction into clear, prioritized, and deliverable roadmaps
Ensure strategic initiatives are broken down into well-scoped, owned, and sequenced product work across Product Managers and Engineering teams
Ensure every initiative has a clearly accountable Product Manager, defined success metrics, and a delivery plan
Drive consistency and quality in how work is scoped, built, tested, documented, and released
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a team of Product Managers
Set clear expectations around ownership, communication, and pace, leading by example through your own product work
Product Ownership
Personally own a core product area or strategic feature set end-to-end, from discovery and requirements through delivery, launch, and iteration
Lead high-impact initiatives, platform capabilities, or enterprise integrations
Work directly with customers, Sales, and Customer Success to validate problems and solutions
Cross-Functional Execution
Act as the senior product execution partner to Engineering, Design, QA, Sales, and Customer Success, working alongside our Product Strategy team
Resolve prioritization conflicts, manage dependencies, and remove blockers across teams
Represent Product in customer, partner, and leadership discussions related to delivery and roadmap
What We’re Looking For
Experience
8+ years in Product Management, with 3+ years managing Product Managers and cross-functional roles
Demonstrated experience in player-coach leadership roles with direct product ownership
Background in high-growth startup or scale-up environments, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
Experience working on AI-powered, data-intensive, or workflow-driven products strongly preferred
Skills & Attributes
Strong product operator who leads by example and sets a high bar for ownership and quality
Excellent people manager with a coaching mindset and clear, constructive feedback style
High work ethic and comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Clear, confident communicator across technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders
Structured, pragmatic thinker who balances customer value, delivery reality, and business impact
