Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part-Time

📍 Location: Lake Ariel, PA
🕒 Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible scheduling (weekdays/weekends based on program needs)
💰 Pay Rate: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on license and experience)

About the Role

Tapestry, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our residential treatment team in Lake Ariel, PA. This role supports adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. As an LPN, you will play a key role in medication administration, detox monitoring, and clinical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments upon client admission

• Administer medications per physician orders and program protocols

• Implement and monitor detoxification protocols

• Conduct COWS and CIWA assessments per clinical guidelines

• Provide medication education and support to clients

• Coordinate care with medical providers during medication management visits

• Maintain medical equipment and ensure proper functioning

• Document all nursing care accurately and within required timelines

• Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical nursing practice

• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned

Qualifications

Licensure:

• Current, active, and unencumbered LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania

Certifications:

• CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid required

Experience:

• Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred

• Behavioral health, residential treatment, or substance use disorder experience strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations

• Knowledge of relevant regulations (DHS, CARF, Joint Commission, etc.)

• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and within a team

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Primarily indoor clinical setting

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally

• Potential exposure to infectious diseases or psychiatric crisis situations

• Reliable transportation required
