Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential growth opportunities for the business, the product and the client base.

  • Create and implement strategic plans to expand Webook footprint.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities.

  • Develop and sustain relationships with clients (organizational level) & partners. 

  • Lead negotiations and finalize business agreements and partnerships.

  • Develop and execute effective growth strategies to meet and exceed department set KPIs

  • Analyze growth and sales performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive user and client acquisition and engagement.

  • Align business development initiatives with overall company goal and product roadmap. 

  • Provide weekly updates and reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and market trends.

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Lead and mentor the business development specialists and interns. 

  • Foster a collaborative environment across departments to ensure successful execution of business strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the entertainment or IT industry.

  • Having had experience in SaaS sales strategies is a plus.

  • Having had experience in a similar (mobile application, e-commerce) industry is a plus.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong network of contacts within the Tourism, Entertainment, Culture and Sports sectors in KSA (+ Global a plus) 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of basic contracting, working with legal to action. 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable strategies.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
