We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Technology Operations Engineer to join our Technology Command Centre team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, stability, and continuous improvement of our technology operations. You will help monitor critical systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our technology stack and operational processes. Responsibilities:

Monitor the performance of technology systems to detect issues proactively.
Execute incident detection protocols to identify potential service disruptions.
Coordinate incident response efforts to address and resolve reported issues promptly.
Implement recovery procedures to restore normal operations following an incident.
Collaborate with all Technology teams to improve service desk operations and incident management processes.
Maintain detailed records of incidents, including status updates and resolution steps.
Contribute to the development of knowledge bases and FAQs for Technology support.
Provide technology service desk support, ensuring efficient resolution of inquiries and fulfillment of service requests.

Requirements:

Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1-5 years of professional experience in IT Technology operations and support.
Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to haves:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Good technical knowledge in application development, systems engineering, network administration, and/or database management.
