Description
Propulsion Engineer at Astranis, you will design, evaluate, and test in-space propulsion components and systems. You must have a strong background in the fundamentals of propulsion, hands-on skills, and a desire to work on novel and challenging problems. Past experience with in-space propulsion, launch vehicles, or other fluid systems is a benefit but not required.

Astranis designs, manufactures, tests, and operates high-orbit satellites to provide dedicated broadband services. Its MicroGEO product enables GEO-based connectivity for telecom operators and government missions. The company has contracts with Space Force, NASA, and international operators, including Thaicom and Chunghwa Telecom. All activities are largely in-house at its Pier 70 facility in California, where it emphasizes in-house testing, manufacturing, and machining. With more than 10 satellites on contract, Astranis reports over $1 billion of satellite services sold and ongoing efforts to expand its high-orbit satellite networks globally.
