Title: SAP FI Consultant - SAP Special Ledger Implementation & Support
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SAP FI Consultant with experience in SAP Special Ledger implementation and support. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing SAP FI processes, particularly focusing on the implementation and maintenance of the Special Ledger, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and configure SAP Special Ledger according to client's business requirements and regulatory mandates.
  2. Lead SAP FI projects, providing expert guidance on the use and benefits of the Special Ledger.
  3. Ensure accurate mapping and transfer of data between General Ledger and Special Ledger.
  4. Develop and execute test strategies for SAP FI and Special Ledger components, ensuring system quality and reliability.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement SAP FI and Special Ledger processes.
  6. Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system maintenance for SAP FI and Special Ledger.
  7. Deliver training and support to end-users on SAP FI and Special Ledger functionalities.
  8. Stay updated with SAP FI and Special Ledger enhancements and industry trends, communicating these insights to the team and clients.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP FI and Special Ledger, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  10. Contribute to the development of SAP FI and Special Ledger best practices, methodologies, and documentation.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification would be beneficial.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FI, with specific project experience in SAP Special Ledger implementation and support.
  3. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial regulations, and SAP best practices.
  4. Proven experience in SAP project implementation, upgrades, or support.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.
  7. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
