PAYROLL ASSOCIATE
This role will be part of our client delivery team in Manila Delivery Center, providing HR administration production support for clients in ASEAN countries for payroll processing and data reconciliation. The Payroll Associate will analyze, research, validate, and correct HR data entry issues for client employees on a daily basis. Responsible for the correction and resolution of all HR data entry generated fatal errors that would prevent client's employees from receiving proper payments.
Main responsibilities
The Payroll Associate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing
Compilation and processing of Payroll and Time Data
Process payroll requirements in payroll system (monthly, year-end, off-cycle)
Preparation and processing of Final Settlement/ Final Pay, Separation Pay, Back Pay, Back wages, Severance Pay, Separation Package, Retirement Pay, Terminal Pay, Garnishment Pay
Ensure accuracy of employee and employer contributions for statutory requirements.
Ensure accuracy of other payments & deductions calculated by the system.
Generation of Pay Statements and other Business reports.
Generation of statutory reports.
Remittance of payments for employees, government offices, and 3rd parties.
Journal entries posting, accruals, account reconciliation (requires knowledge of in-depth knowledge of payroll accounting matters).
Implements internal control measures and conducts regular control self-assessments to ensure that processes meet IC requirements.
Skills
At least a year of End-to-End Singapore Payroll Processing experience or HR Back-office experience is required
SAP Knowledge and Experience for at least 1 year
Key experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting / Business Studies / Administration / Management/ HR Management
Preferably 1-4 yeas experienced Employee specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
Must have proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of system functionality regarding HR, Staffing, Benefits, Retirement, and Payroll actions and processes
Must be capable of understanding system transactions impacting HR Administration, Payroll and Benefits.
Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short timeframe.
Ability to communicate effectively with high-level client contacts
