We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketplace Manager to lead and scale the organization’s presence across major e-commerce platforms. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing marketplace performance, and building a strong digital retail strategy. The ideal candidate will combine analytical thinking with execution excellence to manage end-to-end marketplace operations, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, and performance tracking. As a key contributor to business growth, this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across marketing, supply chain, and finance functions. This position is best suited for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems, and can drive measurable outcomes through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute marketplace strategies to drive sales, profitability, and brand visibility
  • Manage and own the marketplace P&L, ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets
  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics such as GMV, conversion rates, ROI, and returns
  • Oversee end-to-end marketplace operations including listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management
  • Curate and optimize product assortment based on demand, competition, and margin considerations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and efficient supply chain coordination
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal strategies
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketplace team, setting clear KPIs and performance benchmarks
  • Maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners, agencies, and external stakeholders
  • Negotiate commercial terms, promotional placements, and partnership agreements
  • Identify new marketplace opportunities and expand presence across platforms
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 8+ years of experience in e-commerce with at least 5+ years managing marketplace businesses
  • Strong expertise in marketplace platforms, operations, and performance optimization
  • Proven track record of managing P&L and driving revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of marketplace algorithms, advertising, and analytics
  • Experience handling large product catalogs and optimizing assortment strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
