Qualifications:
- Active CPC, COC, CCS-P and/or CCS
- College Graduate of BS Nursing or Med Allied Course
- 3 years of outpatient coding with 1 year experience in Surgery and/or Oncology Profee coding
Responsibilities:
- The Profee Coder ensures compliance with coding guidelines, regulations, and documentation requirements while maximizing revenue and minimizing coding errors.
- They work closely with healthcare providers, billing teams, and administrative staff to review medical documentation and assign appropriate codes.
