Part-Time PHP Therapist – Adolescents & Adults
High Focus Centers is seeking a passionate and dedicated therapist to join our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) team. In this role, you will provide group therapy services to both adolescent and adult clients receiving treatment for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Position Overview
The Part-Time PHP Therapist will facilitate group therapy for adolescent and adult clients in our Partial Hospitalization Programs. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based, group-centered treatment while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support clients throughout their recovery journey.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Facilitate therapeutic groups for adolescent and adult PHP clients.
- Develop engaging, clinically appropriate group curriculum and materials.
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Monitor client progress and communicate clinical concerns as appropriate.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment.
- Support overall program operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, including completion of a clinically based internship.
- Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT is required.
- Prior experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or partial hospitalization preferred.
- Experience facilitating group therapy strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with both adolescent and adult populations.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
