Associate Program Director

Beyond is building a world-class team to support our mission of becoming Google Cloud's number one partner in North America.\u00a0\n\nReporting to the Group Program Director, you'll drive growth, quality and operational excellence across medium- to large scale programs of work. They provide both strategic leadership, navigating the complexities of dual-track design and technical projects.\u00a0\n\nThis role requires a “whip-smart” leader who is comfortable running the daily project rhythm while maintaining the ability to see the forest through the trees. You will be a partner to Design and Technical leads, ensuring internal and external partners are synchronized. With a deep understanding of technical lifecycles and commercial acumen, you know which levers to pull - from staffing to scoping- to protect the financial integrity of a program while delivering world-class results.\u00a0\n\n* Build a suite of tools and training to enable and support the establishment and growth of complex programs.\n* Identify, plan for, and pitch ideas to turn one-off projects into longer, more complex, and more valuable programs of work by identifying commercial opportunities.\n* Be a strong voice and point of contact for our most senior clients.\n* Plan alongside clients with a cohesive understanding of their business metrics and goals; "seeing the forest through the trees" to ensure daily output hits long-term goals.\n* Design and facilitate ideation and planning sessions internally and with clients to align design and technical workstreams.\n\nClient & Program Specific:\n\n* Technical & Design Integration: Successfully lead and steer work across the Google portfolio, specifically managing the intersection of design-led and technically-heavy workstreams.\n* Commercial Lever Management: Advise on roadmap opportunities and growth strategies; proactively managing the levers of scoping, staffing, and margin protection to ensure financial health.\n* Operational Oversight: Oversee and guide all agency relations and APR engagement, ensuring the agency remains a preferred partner through consistent excellence.\n* Financial Stewardship: Report on program financial health, identifying risks to the scope before they impact delivery.\n\nRole Objectives\n\n* Financial Integrity: Oversee the delivery of high-quality work, done profitably through smart scoping and resource optimization.\n* Agency Preference: Drive preference for working with Beyond from agency relations through a consistent, "no-surprises" quality experience.\n* Technical Fluency: Bridge the gap between technical leads and client stakeholders to ensure complex builds are understood and valued.\n* Employee Experience: Foster a fulfilling and positive environment for team members by ensuring they have the infrastructure and support to succeed.\n\nDesirable Experience\n\n* Proven experience leading medium- to large-scale programs\n* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical project lifecycles and experience partnering with Engineering\n* Curious Mindset: Someone who excels at solving complex delivery puzzles and operationalizing new work.\n* Client Command: Comfortable in client-facing environments, with the ability to manage "the now" while planning for "the next."\n\nAt Beyond, we empower you to leave a positive mark on the world.
