About the job: SAP ABAP - Associate Consultant (Makati) | Hybrid\n\nWork Schedule: Morning Shift\n\nWork Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite per week) | Makati\n\nEligibility: Open to local and expat candidates currently residing in the Philippines\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n* Support the development and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).\n* Build and maintain side-by-side extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using CAP, Node.js, or Java.\n* Assist in designing and implementing clean, core-compliant extensions using in-app and on-stack extensibility techniques.\n* Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\n* Develop OData services, Fiori Elements apps, and event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh or SAP Integration Suite.\n* Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.\n* Document technical specifications, test cases, and deployment procedures.\n* Stay updated on RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP BTP innovations.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\n* 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with exposure to S/4HANA and cloud-based development.\n* Hands-on experience with any of the following:\n \n * ABAP on Cloud / RAP\n * SAP BTP (Business Application Studio, CAP)\n * OData and CDS Views\n * Fiori Elements and UI5 (basic level)\n* Understanding of clean core principles, modular architecture, and extensibility options in S/4HANA.\n* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in SAP environments is preferred\n* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n* SAP BTP or ABAP Cloud Certification.\n* Exposure to SAP Integration Suite, SAP Event Mesh, or SAP Build tools.\n* Experience with REST APIs, JWT authentication, and cloud-native development.\n\nEducational Background:\n\n* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
