What to expect of your role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced environment of the gambling industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Knowledge and experience in SQL programming in Amazon Redshift — comfortable writing intermediate queries (JOINs, GROUP BY, subqueries, CASE WHEN);
  • Amazon QuickSight — willingness to learn QuickSight is sufficient;
  • Ability to work in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, formatting, ad-hoc reporting);
  • A/B testing basics — understanding of statistical significance, p-values, and test setup;
  • Strong attention to data quality — ability to sense-check numbers and spot inconsistencies;
  • Familiarity with iGaming KPIs: GGR, NGR, deposit/withdrawal volumes, player LTV, churn rate, bonus abuse metrics;
  • Clear English communication, written and verbal (upper-intermediate+);
  • Interest in AI tools usage;
  • Attention to detail and a sceptical mindset when validating data quality;
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritise in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive communication — flagging anomalies, asking the right questions, and pushing back on flawed assumptions;
  • Strong communication skills — you need to understand business users and help them answer questions via data.

You will be expected to:

  • Write SQL queries in Amazon Redshift to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources;
  • Monitor key KPIs and flag anomalies or data quality issues;
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups, to answer business questions;
  • Support A/B test setup and analysis — track results, validate statistical significance, and summarise findings;
  • Learn and work in EasyMorph for reporting data preparation tasks as the platform is onboarded;
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and deliver clear, accurate outputs.
