Associate Scientist, Engineering II

Purpose\n\nIndependently generate precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner. Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills and should possess understanding of core discipline.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Perform routine tasks competently and independently, and generate reliable and consistent results.\n* Analyze and critique results, noting significant deviations.\n* Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.\n* Learn and understand new experimental techniques.\n* Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of research or development sciences.\n* Place data in proper scientific context by consulting and citing relevant literature.\n* Demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her field.\n* Impact projects predominantly through lab and/or pilot plant based activities.\n* Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug and radioactive compounds, GxP compliance, and animal care where applicable.
