This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people and process management, ensuring our projects are delivered efficiently, securely, and with technical excellence.\n\nAs the Tech Lead, you’ll lead a cross-functional development team, mentor engineers, and work closely with global stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals. You’ll set engineering standards, manage project timelines, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across your team.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n* Lead a team of full stack, DevOps, and AI engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.\n* Oversee sprint planning, code reviews, and project delivery in collaboration with product and design teams.\n* Ensure engineering best practices, scalable architecture, and clean, maintainable code. \n* Drive operational excellence by improving processes, documentation, and cross-team communication. \n* Translate business and product requirements into clear technical plans. \n* Partner with leadership on roadmap prioritization, resource planning, and hiring. \n* Identify and resolve technical risks and delivery bottlenecks proactively.\n* Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.\n\nWork Skills and Qualifications:\n\n* 6–10 years of total experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a lead or managerial role. \n* Strong technical background in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) or similar full-stack environment. \n* Experience managing distributed or remote engineering teams. \n* Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP). \n* Excellent people leadership skills — coaching, feedback, and team development. \n* Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle and agile methodologies. \n* Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.\n\nEducation, Credentials, and Experience:\n\n* Experience with AI or agentic development environments (LangChain, LLM integrations). \n* Exposure to security-focused or SaaS product development. \n* Familiarity with performance metrics, engineering OKRs, or operational dashboards. \n* Prior experience in startup or fast-scaling tech teams. \n\nNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.\n\nPrescient Security provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age disability or genetics.
