Payroll Operations Lead - LATAM
This is an exciting time to join our global Payroll Operations team—not only because we are growing, but because we are actively shaping the future of global payroll. You will play a key role in elevating processes, driving standardization, and improving how payroll is delivered across Central America.
This role offers the opportunity to own end-to-end payroll processes, work cross-functionally with global teams, and make a direct impact on operational excellence in a fast-paced, international environment, with a primary focus on key Central American countries such as Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for assigned Central America countries, ensuring full ownership of payroll processes.
- Process end-to-end in-house payroll, including data collection, validation, calculations, approvals, payments, and statutory compliance.
- Manage statutory filings, tax obligations, and social security requirements across assigned countries.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery aligned with KPIs and SLAs.
- Handle payroll accounting, reconciliations, and support financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Support teams) to ensure smooth operations and alignment.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.
- Manage payroll exceptions, escalations, and complex cases with a problem-solving mindset.
- Support and mentor other payroll specialists, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.

The annual salary range for this full-time position is
$33,300—$74,900 USD
