The company engages in the trading and industrial services of bulk raw materials such as energy and chemicals, agricultural products, non-ferrous metals, and ferrous metals. By forging in-depth partnerships with industrial clients, the company steadily extends its presence upstream and downstream along the value chain, offering a variety of services to meet their needs

Background
Due to business expansion, the company is entering the Southeast Asian market, with Vietnam as the first step. This is a green-field setup: no local subsidiary yet, office location to be decided—North or South Vietnam, preferably Ho Chi Minh City (South).

Job Descriptions

  • Market and customer development: Responsible for the development and maintenance of local factory customers and trader customers in Vietnam in a large segment of energy and chemical products, agricultural products, non-ferrous metals and ferrous metals.
  • Sales execution and order management: Independently complete customer visits, quotations, business negotiations, contract signing and internal team collaboration: price calculation, trade structure confirmation, order execution and payment follow-up, responsible for sales results, including sales volume, gross profit, payment security.
  • Internal synergy: Work with the supply chain/customs/warehousing team to ensure that: trade patterns are compliant, customs clearance routes are enforceable, costs and delivery dates are manageable, and customers are not promised unverified customs clearance methods, prices or delivery dates.
  • Market information and risk feedback: Continuous tracking and feedback: market price changes, competition and alternatives,
  • Customer payment and credit risk: timely internal feedback on abnormal demand (abnormally low prices, tax avoidance, etc.).

General Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above, with 3-5 years' experience in selling/trading commodities in Vietnam, with local customer resources in Vietnam is preferred.
  • Familiar with bulk commodities, be able to independently complete the complete sales process from customer development to transaction, and have basic commercial sensitivity to price, gross profit and account period.
  • Understand and respect the company's bottom line in customs, taxation and trade compliance, do not take "shortcuts" as a selling point to obtain orders, have a clear sense of boundaries, and be able to balance sales targets with compliance requirements.
  • Fluent in Chinese, English or Vietnamese as a working language is preferred, able to adapt to frequent customer visits and local travel in Vietnam.

Roles & Requirements:

  1. Sales Representative
  • Secure and onboard critical local resources; able to open the market.
  • Solid sales track record and good knowledge of Vietnamese end-users in our product lines.
  1. Project Manager
  • End-to-end trade operations: familiar with warehousing, logistics, freight forwarding and related service providers.

Profile Desired:

  • Language: Vietnamese OR Chinese national; must speak at least two of Vietnamese, Chinese, English.
  • Strong professional match and proven experience are decisive.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Salary Range: ¥300K-¥600K
