And, as we continue to grow, we’re on the hunt for a Desktop Support Officer (Education) to join our team to deliver high-quality, onsite technical support in Darwin.\n\nYour role will be to provide friendly and knowledgeable support to educational users with a positive, can-do attitude. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide array of technology including desktop computers, tablets, interactive whiteboards, audio-visual equipment, and network infrastructure, ensuring seamless day-to-day technology operations within educational environments.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\n* Providing prompt and effective technical support to educators, students, and staff within educational facilities.\n* Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and audio-visual equipment specific to educational needs.\n* Supporting and troubleshooting issues related to classroom technology, networking, and user devices.\n* Building and maintaining positive relationships with end-users, fostering a friendly and supportive environment.\n* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve processes for efficient support delivery.\n* Documenting technical procedures and solutions accurately.\n* Taking ownership of hardware and software issues, liaising with external vendors and third-party service providers as needed.\n* Actively seeking feedback to continuously improve support services.\n* Ensuring compliance with relevant education sector policies and standards\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\n\n* Passion for delivering excellent customer service, particularly in an educational setting.\n* Strong interest and aptitude in technology, with the willingness to learn new tools and systems relevant to education.\n* Effective troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms.\n* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suited to diverse audiences including educators and students.\n* Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving mindset.\n* Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the education environment, including occasional after-hours support.\n* Previous experience supporting technology in education is highly regarded.\n\nWhy You'll Love Working Here:\n\nOur company is more than just a workplace, it's a hub of inspiration and creativity where employees love to work!
