Description BillingPlatform is seeking an Implementation Consultant to guide customers through the full implementation lifecycle. The role focuses on leading customer engagements, advising on best practices, clearly documenting requirements, identifying gaps between customer needs and platform capabilities, and delivering scalable, compliant, and trusted solutions. 

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading customer-facing sessions, understanding business requirements and desired outcomes, configuring the application, supporting or advising on data migration, delivering demonstrations, documenting testing results, and communicating status and risks to both internal teams and customers. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead client-facing sessions (onsite and remote) to gather, validate, and refine business requirements 

  • Advise customers on industry best practices and BillingPlatform standards 

  • Drive business process redesign conversations and obtain requirement sign-off 

  • Document current-state and future-state business process flows, ensuring traceability to system design 

  • Identify and communicate gaps between customer requirements and existing platform functionality 

  • Translate business requirements into system design, configuration, and workflows within BillingPlatform 

  • Configure the application using standard BillingPlatform configuration functions 

  • Perform application testing and validation to ensure quality and consistency 

  • Support or advise customers on data migration activities, including data mapping and validation 

  • Identify system gaps and collaborate with stakeholders on recommended solutions or enhancements 

  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure scope, schedule, and deliverables are achieved 

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts / Senior Consultants, and offshore configuration teams 

  • Escalate and help resolve risks, issues, or design challenges in collaboration with Product and Engineering 

  • Deliver tailored training to client users and administrators 

  • Lead system demonstrations and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions 

  • Support change management by helping customers adopt new processes and capabilities

 

Qualifications 

  • 6–8+ years of experience in Business Systems, IT, or Consulting, ideally within the Quote-to-Cash and Billing ecosystem but not must have

  • Hands-on experience implementing SaaS solutions with a strong business analysis and configuration component 

  • Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages is a plus 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills 

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

  • Self-starter with independent thinking and a strong desire to learn 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Compensation & Equal Opportunity The base salary range for this position is $120,000–$160,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
