R2 enables platforms in Latin America to embed financial services that SMBs can then leverage (starting with revenue-based financing). We are a tight-knit team coming from organizations such as Google, Amazon, Nubank, Uber, Capital One, Mercado Libre, Globant, and J.P. Morgan. We are entering a new phase of growth following a strategic investment from Ant International, focused on rapidly expanding our partner footprint, strengthening our credit and underwriting capabilities, and scaling our operations across multiple markets.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in data and systems orchestration to lead mission-critical initiatives across R2. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing complex workflows that power R2’s financial infrastructure. The TPM will prioritize and unblock key data engineering workflows, drive cross-functional system design, establish KPIs to measure progress and communicate progress on technical plans across internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own data availability across R2, ensuring teams actively leverage queries, dashboards, and alerts.
• Manage week-to-week prioritization for Data Engineering and Data Science by identifying dependencies, removing roadblocks, and aligning with OKRs.
• Lead the implementation and integration of scalable systems (e.g., ERP) to automate financial workflows and reporting.
• Automate and optimize core processing systems, including real-time payment flows.
• Improve cross-functional integration workflows, including QA of underwriting systems, Risk analyses, and partner offer generation timelines.
• Define and track technical KPIs, providing clear reporting on project progress, system performance, and business impact.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in technical program management, focusing on data-intensive products/programs and systems architecture in fintech, SaaS, or large-scale technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, real-time processing, and financial data automation.
• Fluency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages to query and optimize data workflows.
• Ability to translate and execute complex technical solutions into clear roadmaps for business and engineering stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in large-scale, data-intensive environments.
• Track record of working with data teams on SCRUM, prioritization, integration, and scaling infrastructure.
• Background in fintech payments, ledger systems, or high-frequency data workflows.
• Expertise in data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect, Dagster) and cloud-based data infrastructures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with multi-country payment automation and banking integrations.
• Expertise in financial data reconciliation and payment risk management processes.
