Business Development Representative
Role Type: Full-time, On-site in Toronto
Engagement: Independent Contractor
Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate qualified leads
Book discovery calls and demos for the Account Executive team
Develop a deep understanding of the companyβs data and infrastructure offerings
Research target accounts and personalise outreach for key decision-makers (CTOs, Heads of Data, etc.)
Track and manage leads and activities through CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce)
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to improve messaging
Maintain accurate records and regularly report on KPIs and conversion rates
1β2 years of SDR or BDR experience in the Data or Infrastructure industry
Proven track record with cold calling and outbound lead generation
Strong understanding of data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise IT solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working full-time from a downtown Toronto office (5 days/week)
Experience with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
