About the role
The Programming Operations Analyst will support the execution of the programming operation, ensuring that schedules are correctly implemented, monitored and adjusted across all platforms.
This role is hands-on and operational, working closely with the Coordinator to guarantee that programming is accurately reflected in playout systems and that live events run smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Execute the operationalization of the programming schedule within playout and scheduling systems.
- Input and manage playlists, programming elements and schedule updates in Proteus / VIPE or similar systems.
- Support ingest workflows for live signals and recorded content.
- Monitor live transmissions and assist in real-time adjustments during events.
- Ensure correct insertion of programming elements such as matches, replays, promos and sponsorship assets.
- Assist in validating EPG data and playlist accuracy.
- Support reconciliation between planned schedule and As-Run logs.
- Work closely with Programming, Operations and Technology teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues related to playout, ingest or scheduling.
- Maintain organized operational records and documentation.
What you'll bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Broadcasting or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in broadcast operations, programming or scheduling
- Experience with live content is a plus
Technical Skills Desired
- Basic understanding of broadcast workflows (Playout, Ingest, MCR)
- Experience with scheduling or playout systems (Media+, Proteus, VIPE, Aleph or similar)
- Familiarity with EPG and playlist management
- Understanding of live transmission environments
- Good Excel / Google Sheets skills
