We currently have a vacancy for a Quality & Test Specialist in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks:

Create, design and maintain test plans;
Develop test acceptance criteria;
Create, design and maintain test scripts and test data;
Generate requisite documentation to support quality management activities;
Select and develop integration testing techniques to ensure the system meets requirements;
Design and customize integration tests, identify issues that may jeopardize the correct functioning of the application;
Use, select and design testing tools to assess software quality;
Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks;
Develop standards to increase test effectiveness and efficiency.
University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 6 years;
Excellent experience with Web technologies and Microsoft applications;
Experience with organizing test plans and procedures for white and black box testing at unit, module, system, and integration levels;
Experience with testing procedures and platforms;
Experience with integration testing;
Experience with automation testing frameworks;
Experience with quality and risk management procedures;
Experience with producing relevant documentation;
Experience with test strategy, test scripts, test data and test plans;
Excellent command of the English language.
