Job Openings UI/UX Artist (Malta/Remote)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In collaboration with the Game Design team, prototype Interaction Workflows to test layout and set the basis for the functionality
Collaborate with Art Director and Lead Artist to conceptualize and design UI styles for new game titles
Create the final UI elements under the guidelines and style of the given game
Document if needed UI details and create Mockups to assist in the understanding and implementation of the assets
Identify, address and solve complex UI and User feedback challenges
Work with in-Engine tools to help programmers setup the UI and later on polish to the desired target
Create Marketing assets for the promotion of a game
Serve as Mentor for less experienced 2D/UI Artists and help them evolve their skills
Help manage and coordinate any potential Outsource work

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2 years of professional experience as a game UI Artist
Expert knowledge of Illustrator and/or Photoshop, and standard tools of the trade
Detailed understanding of UI flow, typography, iconography, graphic and motion design
Love to collaborate and to work within a team. Willing to provide and accept direction and the ability to embrace change.
Love playing and creating games while thinking about how to take them to the next level
Strong written and verbal communication skills

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with User Interface for VR titles
Experience with Unreal Engine 4 UMG system
Experience with User Interface Animation in any form (keyframed or sprites sheets)
Experience and a good eye for Branding of a Product, including Logo creation
Understanding of asset preparation for Animation, Organic or Mechanical
