Description

We're looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Platform Associate to join a small, fast-moving team. This is not a passive support role — you will be embedded in the day-to-day execution of the firm's brand, communications, and community work, managing materials, coordinating logistics, and keeping the machine running between events.

You will work directly under the Platform Director and alongside firm leadership, with ownership over a defined set of responsibilities from day one. The ideal candidate is wired to execute, thrives in ambiguous environments, has strong instincts for brand and communication, and wants to grow inside the venture ecosystem. You don't need to have done this exact job before, but you need to understand this world.

Responsibilities

Communications & Content

  • Draft and distribute LP and founder newsletters on a recurring cadence
  • Manage outbound communications including mail merges, event follow-ups, and announcement sends
  • Maintain brand asset libraries (bios, headshots, logo files, boilerplate copy) so materials are always current and accessible
  • Support the production of decks, one-pagers, and other collateral from first draft to final file
  • Help implement a base-level content package for firm partners: portfolio company announcements, raise coverage, and milestone posts

Events & Logistics

  • Coordinate logistics for firm events — venue, guest coordination, follow-up, and attendee tracking (tools like Luma)
  • Support salon and private event execution: venue coordination, travel logistics, guest communications, run-of-show, and post-event follow-up
  • Manage guest lists, registration systems, and post-event data capture so every event produces actionable contact intelligence
  • Serve as the detail-layer check on all event materials before anything goes out

Community & Operations

  • Maintain and update the firm website with event recaps, guest book entries, and relevant content
  • Support CRM hygiene — keeping founder and LP contact information current across databases
  • Manage information architecture across shared resources: organized, findable, and current
  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks (mail merges, file management, scheduling support)

Requirements

  • Required Experience

  • Prior exposure to the venture or startup ecosystem as a founder, operator, or firm employee — you cannot come in cold on how this world works

  • Demonstrated experience in communications, brand, or marketing coordination; real execution work, not just strategy

  • Strong writing ability: crisp newsletters, clean event follow-ups, and tight one-liners without much hand-holding

  • Comfort with project and logistics management: juggling multiple workstreams without dropping detail

  • Proficiency with modern productivity and communications tools (Google Workspace, AI tools, Figma, or equivalents)

  • Preferred Experience

  • Experience at a venture fund, accelerator, family office, or growth-stage startup in a platform, community, or brand-adjacent role

  • Event coordination experience — you have helped execute something that involved real people showing up somewhere

  • Experience with CRM tools or contact database management

  • Existing network in the tech or investment community

  • Comfort with visual tools and builder platforms — not a designer, but not afraid of a deck

  • Experience with email marketing or distribution tools (Substack, Beehiiv, or similar)
