Staff Product Manager - Onboarding and Activation
Role Summary\n\nAs the Staff Product Manager for Customer Onboarding & Activation, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for the "First 30 Days" experience. Your mission is to accelerate Time-to-Value, design personalized onboarding paths, and maximize Trial-to-Paid conversion rates across the HighLevel platform. You will lead cross-functional pods to build scalable, data-driven solutions that turn new sign-ups into power users.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n●Drive Core Metrics: Define and move the needle on onboarding completion rates, activation milestones (by segment), and trial-to-paid conversion.\n\n●Personalize the Journey: Design and deliver tailored product experiences (flows, in-app guidance, and nudges) that guide different user personas to their "Aha!" moment faster.\n\n●Predictive Activation: Partner with Data Science to identify behaviors that correlate with long-term success and build product work-streams to encourage those specific actions.\n\n●Experiment & Iterate: Run high-velocity A/B tests on product pages, onboarding flows, and trial experiences to optimize the conversion funnel.\n\n●Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Marketing and GTM teams to ensure lifecycle communications are perfectly synced with the in-app experience.\n\n●Mentorship: Coach PMs and APMs on the Growth team, establishing "best-in-class" standards for growth experimentation and user psychology.\n\n●Influence the product roadmap: Collaborate with engineering, design, UX, growth and marketing to prioritise and execute on onboarding & activation-centric initiatives across the platform.\n\n●Voice of the New Customer: Conduct qualitative research and user interviews to translate early-user insights into product requirements and value propositions.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n●10+ Years of PM Experience: Proven track record in high-growth SaaS, specifically within Growth, Onboarding, or Self-Service funnels.\n\n●Activation Experts: Deep experience in reducing friction, improving "Time-to-Value," and optimizing complex user workflows.\n\n●Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to work with complex usage data, run rigorous experiments, and interpret cohort analyses to define meaningful KPIs.\n\n●Growth Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where speed of learning is a competitive advantage.\n\n●Influencer: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align senior stakeholders around a unified growth roadmap.\n\nWhat you’ll get\n\n●Strategic Impact: Opportunity to lead the Onboarding pillar, a top-level business priority.\n\n●Collaborative Culture: Work within a high-energy environment alongside Data Science, Design, and Growth specialists.\n\n●Scale: Influence the next phase of growth for a global platform and build frameworks that will define our future operations\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity Information\nThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
